I intended on a quiet shoot for the new Intimacies Project; what I got was an insightful earful from Stephanie, Gil, Maria, Ana & Julia. This wild bunch were well into celebrating their graduation from Miami Beach High School on this timid June evening. As I photographed the opposite side of playground I caught snippets of their aspirations to start a life outside of Miami. I found myself getting to know them better as I photographed the group and wish them the best of luck for their future, especially Gil who seemed the most driven to escape and attend a University with a "good" art curriculum. "Don't go to FIU, Bro"
