While attending the closing reception for the inaugural New Orleans Biennial - Prospect.1, artists installation/performances enabled a connection between "high art" and the larger cultural landscape of the city, with its rich and diverse vernacular traditions. It introduced audiences to the richness of New Orleans culture as seen through the eyes of artists. This one particular piece involved feeding drug laced chocolate covered strawberries to an unknowing audience so they could experience the evening with the artist in an altered state.
